Get to know Dr. AJ Majidian
Dentistry was very clearly Dr. Majidian’s calling. It allows him to be able to provide health care to his community all while being able to develop long lasting relationships and display his artistic skill. At Majidian Dental, a healthy mouth is what every one of his patients can expect, but how you get there lies in desires of the individual patient. Whether it’s regaining the confidence to smile or increasing chewing function, we will come up with plan that works in anyone’s busy lifestyle and budget.
“I grew up in the great city of Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High. It was there I made the decision to pursue dentistry as a career. I went on the University of North Dakota to complete my undergraduate degree and then to the University of Minnesota to earn my dental degree.
While I enjoyed living outside of Fargo, I’ve always known that Fargo was going to be home for me. I love the lifestyle but more importantly the people of this community. I was lucky enough to develop a relationship with Dr. Kent Shirley during my years at school. As our relationship grew, it became apparent our treatment styles were similar. When Dr. Shirley decided he was ready to retire from dentistry I was fortunate enough to assume his role at the dental practice.
I am married to my beautiful bride, Jessica. We have a little puppy Gary (who is currently a handful). We enjoy our free time sight seeing, cooking, spending time with family, and cheering on the Vikings every Sunday in the fall.”

Becky, Dental Hygienist
I graduated from NDSCS in 1975 with an associate degree in dental hygiene.
I’ve been married for almost 43 years! We have four granddaughters, whom we spend as much time with as possible. Taking the older ones camping in the summer is really quite an adventure.
I enjoy reading, flower gardening and volunteering at our church. Every fall I go deer hunting with my family on the ranch where I grew up south west of Bismarck.
Several years ago, we realized a dream of living in the country. We have a farmstead south of Fargo. Somewhere along the way we acquired four miniature goats as pets!
I enjoy getting to know our patients and their families on a personal level. It’s been fun to follow families through the years and see their grandchildren become part of our dental practice.
Rewarding Experience: I love it when I see patients grab onto the value of good dental health and be willing to change their habits in order to achieve it.
Rhonda, Dental Hygienist
I graduated with my certificate of dental hygiene from NDSCS and have over 30 years of experience.
In my free time I like to read, bake, swim, hike, hunt, get creative with all sorts of crafts, and tinker with woodworking projects. What I enjoy the most, however, is spending time with my four daughters, our cat named AJ, and the rest of our family and friends.
Rewarding Experience: I once had a patient come in because he’d been told he needed all of his teeth extracted. It had been 10 years since he had seen a dentist. With a lot of hard work and dedication from the both of us, it’s been 18 years and he is still smiling and chewing with all of his own teeth!
Favorite Food: Chocolate, Chocolate, and more Chocolate (and a really good steak!)
Laura, Dental Hygienist
In 1997 I graduated from the dental assisting program at Interstate Business College. After working for a couple years in Grand Forks , I decided to move to Fargo. That was when I went on to receive my associates degree in dental hygiene from Moorhead Technical College.
I enjoy working in the dental field and being part of a team that helps people restore and maintain their oral health. I have gained many friendships working in dentistry with patients and team members; past and present.
In my free time, I enjoy fishing, playing cards, watching movies, and attending a variety of sporting events. And of course, my favorite pastime is being with my husband and three kids.
Fun Fact: I went to Frisco, TX to root on the Bison win their 7th National Championship in 8 years!
Robyn, Dental Assistant
I am a registered dental assistant & DANB certified with 18 years of experience. I have come to know many of our patients personally and consider them to be my friends.
In my free time I enjoy gardening, shopping, movies, fishing, serving on the North Dakota Dental Assistants Association Board, and enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 boys, and friends.
Rewarding Experience: We had a patient who requested we made her a partial denture. She was missing most of her back teeth because her family was unable to go in for routine dental care growing up. After we had finished making her partial denture, she was so happy to have teeth again that she had tears of joy.

In my opinion, you can never plant too many flowers.
Cathy, Office Manager
I spent my childhood years growing up in North Fargo and graduated from Fargo North. After graduating in 1995 from Interstate Business College in Dental Assisting I moved across the river to raise my boys who were active in hockey. “GO SPUDS!!”
After working chair side as a dental assistant for over 21 years, I decided to take a position as an office manager. One of the joys of working in this field is meeting and caring for the many patients that we see. They truly become part of our family.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends, going to the gym, traveling, watching and attending sporting events and of course shopping!!

Sue, Office Coordinator
I graduated from MSCTC in Dental Assisting and have been in the dental field for more than 15+ years. I love my job and coworkers. I feel very blessed being able to work in dentistry and to make a difference in people’s lives; our patients feel like family!
I graduated from West Fargo High School and have resided in North Fargo for the last 13 years. GO SPARTANS!! My husband and I are very busy parents with two boys in multiple sports, so our second homes are arenas, courts and ball fields. I don’t get much free time or “mom time” but when I do, I love to go fishing/boating with my family at the lakes. I also enjoy cooking, going to fairs, concerts, grilling and hanging out with friends and family.
All my years in dentistry have allowed me to be able to be there for our patient’s and help with explaining insurance, billing and procedure questions. I try to make them feel at ease and comfortable in our office.
